This guide on privacy is part of our ongoing series for vendors selling into the MSP channel.

ManagedServiceProviders.online (“we,” “us,” “our,” “the Site”) operates managedserviceproviders.online, a service that provides verified business contact and firmographic data on managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs) to companies selling products or services into the MSP channel. This policy explains what personal data we handle, where it comes from, how it’s used, and the choices available to you.
1. Two kinds of personal data we handle
Because of what our business does, this policy covers two different groups of people, and they have different relationships with us:
a) Visitors to this website. If you request a free sample, fill out a contact form, or subscribe to our guides, we collect what you submit (name, company, work email, and any message or filter criteria you provide) in order to respond to you.
b) Individuals included in our dataset. Our core product is a database of business contacts at MSPs and MSSPs — typically CEOs, CTOs, IT Directors, and other channel or operations leads. For these individuals we may hold a business (not personal/home) email address, direct business phone number, job title, department, seniority level, employer name, employer business address, and publicly associated professional profiles (e.g., LinkedIn). If this describes you and you did not submit this information to us directly, see Section 5 below for how to see, correct, or remove it.
2. Where dataset information comes from
Contact and firmographic records are compiled from multiple sources: public business filings and registries, vendor partner directories, industry association listings, publicly available company and professional profiles, and opt-in sources such as webinar registrations and conference attendee lists. Email addresses are verified at the mailbox level before inclusion, and records are re-checked on a rolling 30-day cycle.
3. How we use and share this data
We use dataset information to build and sell filtered contact lists and data exports (CSV, Excel, or API) to vendors, distributors, and channel/marketing teams selling into the MSP channel. We use website-visitor information to fulfill sample requests, respond to inquiries, and send the guides newsletter to those who subscribe to it. We do not sell website-visitor form submissions; we do sell/license dataset contact records, which is the core service this site offers.
4. Legal bases (EU/UK visitors and data subjects)
Where GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis for compiling and making available business-contact information for B2B marketing purposes, balanced against the individual’s own rights, and on consent where you’ve directly submitted your own information to us (e.g., a sample request or newsletter sign-up).
5. Your rights and how to exercise them
Whether you’re a website visitor or an individual included in our dataset, you can ask us to:
• tell you what data we hold about you and where it came from;
• correct inaccurate data;
• delete your data from our dataset and suppress it from future re-verification or resale;
• object to your data being included in the dataset at all;
• (California residents) opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@managedserviceproviders.online with the subject line “Privacy Request” and let us know which of the above you’d like. We aim to acknowledge requests promptly and to complete deletion/opt-out requests within 10 business days, and access/correction requests within 30 calendar days (or sooner where a shorter statutory deadline applies, such as CCPA’s 45-day response window).
6. Data retention
Dataset records are kept only while they remain part of an active, re-verified segment; records are re-checked on a 30-day cycle and removed or updated when they’re found to be stale, when a removal request is honored, or when a company or contact is no longer relevant to the categories we cover. Website-visitor form submissions are retained as needed to respond to your inquiry and, if you subscribed, until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site uses standard analytics and functionality cookies to understand site usage and keep forms and interactive tools (like the segment finder and pricing calculator) working correctly. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. If you buy data from us
If you purchase a contact list or export from us, you become independently responsible for how you use it — including compliance with CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, and any other law that applies to your own outreach. See our cold email compliance guide for a practical overview. This responsibility exists regardless of the source of the list, and it sits with you as the sender.
9. Children’s data
This site and our dataset are directed at business professionals and are not intended for, and do not knowingly collect data from, individuals under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
