About ManagedServiceProviders.online: who we are and how we build our data.

ManagedServiceProviders.online is a verified contact and firmographic database built for one specific job: helping vendors, distributors, and channel teams reach the people who make buying decisions at managed service providers (MSPs) and managed security service providers (MSSPs).

We started from a simple observation — most generic B2B contact databases treat “IT services” as a single flat category, which means a vendor selling backup software gets the same list as a vendor selling managed print supplies. We built a dataset that’s segmented by what an MSP actually specializes in (managed IT, MSSP, cloud migration, managed print, UCaaS, SD-WAN, and more), filterable by tech stack, certification, revenue band, and region, so outbound teams can build a list that actually matches their ideal customer profile instead of a generic industry code.

How we work

Every contact record is compiled from multiple sources — public business filings, vendor partner directories, industry association listings, and opt-in sources like webinar registrations and conference attendee lists — then verified at the mailbox level before it’s included, and re-checked on a rolling 30-day cycle to catch job changes, closures, and outdated details. Full details are on our verification methodology page.

Who we serve

SDR and RevOps teams building outbound sequences, channel and partner marketers recruiting new MSP partners, event and conference marketers cross-referencing attendee lists, and consultants, auditors, and M&A brokers who need to find MSPs that need a service rather than a tool.

Our commitments

We publish a public Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and we honor removal and opt-out requests from anyone who appears in our dataset, not just from the vendors who purchase it. If you’re an MSP contact who wants to be excluded, or has questions about how your information was sourced, our contact page is the fastest way to reach us.

Where we’re headed

We’re actively expanding state and metro-level coverage across the US, adding more tech-stack and vertical segments as vendor demand for them grows, and continuing to tighten our verification cycle so stale records get caught faster. If there’s a segment, region, or vendor-stack filter you’d like to see that isn’t covered yet, that’s exactly the kind of feedback our contact page is for.

How we source and verify data

Records in the database start from public business information and directory listings, then go through mailbox-level verification before a contact is included in any export. That last step matters: a lot of B2B data providers stop at “looks like a valid email format,” which produces lists full of bounces. We check that a mailbox actually accepts mail before a record is marked verified, and re-check records on a rolling basis rather than treating a one-time verification as permanent.

What makes this different from a generic B2B data provider

Most general-purpose contact databases treat every company the same way — industry, headcount, location. That works fine for a broad market, but it misses the attributes that actually predict a good fit in the MSP channel specifically: what RMM or PSA platform a firm runs, whether it specializes in a particular vertical like healthcare or legal, and whether it’s positioned as a general MSP or a security-forward MSSP. This site is built specifically around those channel-relevant filters, described in more detail on the managed service providers and use cases pages, rather than being a generic company database with an MSP label attached.

Who this is for

The typical buyer is a vendor selling a product into the MSP channel — RMM, PSA, backup, security, compliance, or a complementary tool an MSP would resell or run internally — and needing to reach the right decision-makers at the right accounts rather than running a generic list through a mail-merge. That includes SDR teams doing outbound prospecting, partner marketers running co-branded or channel campaigns, and vendors doing market-sizing work before launching a channel go-to-market motion at all.

FAQ

Q: How often is the database updated?
A: Records are verified and refreshed on a rolling basis rather than a single static snapshot, so the dataset reflects current, reachable contacts rather than a stale list from months ago.

Q: Can I request a free sample before committing to a purchase?
A: Yes — see sample data or reach out directly via the contact page.

Q: Do you sell data on individual consumers, or only business contacts?
A: Only business contacts tied to their professional role at an MSP or MSSP — see our privacy policy for the full data-handling details.
